I was treated for bulemia when I was 15. It took me till I was almost 23 to get to a weight that I felt comfortable at. When I was treated I was 5 stone 2. When I got married at 23 I was 7.5 stone. Should say I am 5ft 10. When I fell pregnant over 4 year ago I was 8.5 stone with a bmi of 17. When I fell pregnant with DS I had a BMI 19 not sure what weight was.
Anyway am pregnant again and was weighed at 12 weeks and I was 9.5stn.
I am now almost 21 weeks and have lost over half a stone. I have had no sickness and I don't think my diet has changed.
Is this normal? I never usually weigh myself but for some reason in this pregnancy I have been doing think it's because I feel huge.

Should I mention this to the midwife, my weight is not monitored and hasn't been in any of my pregnancies.

I am 31, if that helps at all.

hi
i think you should mention this and maybe also mention your bulemia, losing weight for no reason especially if you are eating right and have no sickness is not right. speak to your doc they will be able to advise you. i think the fact you think you feel huge and are weighing yourself everyday and have suffered from an eating disorder in the past could be a warning sign of maybe the disorder creeping back in. i hope you get the help and advice you need and the best of luck with the rest of your pregnancy.

Can only echo the above. If you are worried enough to post your concerns on here than you should definitely tell your MW. My MW's have always monitored weight in pregnancy. I thought it was done everywhere.

Thank you, will mention it on my next check up.

Not had my weight monitored with any of my pregnancies. Weighed at the start for BMI and then never mentioned again.
