Iron tabs and pregnacare

Do any of you take prescribed iron and pregnacare together ?

I do. I didn't actually speak to my GP (got my iron prescription through the post after a blood test) but I spoke to the local pharmacist who I trust. He said the amount of iron in pregnancy vitamins is very low so it shouldn't be a problem.

I checked with midwife when I was put on iron tablets, she said it was fine to take both.
