Spotting / implatation bleeding

I'm wondering how long have people had spotting for? I had it for 5 days last week and according to the Internet that is the average lenght.
Unfortunately I've had it again today and don't know if that means something is wrong.

I have a scan at week 7 and am currently at 5weeks +3 days.

Am I silly for worrying?

With dd1 I had no spotting but this time I had two lots of spotting - 7 wk scan showed ID twins. Apparently it was secondary implantation bleeding.

You're not silly for worrying - it's natural. Just look after yourself and try to keep distracted. Such a long time to wait - we had a week between scans, 1st scan at 6w said the sac was empty and probably not viable, 7w scan we expected the worse but got two little blessings instead. I remember it being such an emotional week. Thinking of you.x

With DD1 i had the tiniest drop of spotting which was pink on just one day. Im currently TTC and have had spotting for 3 days followed by a heavier (but light compared to normal period) bleed on day period was due then nothing - had a -ve test on due date so going to test again tomorrow!!
Ive read its normal to bleed pretty much any amount as every pregnancy is different so try not to worry :)

Thanks for your responses.

I do feel better after reading about your experiences. Am trying not to worry and assume that it is still implantation bleeding and just enjoy being pregnant. It has stopped again this evening so that must be a good sign.

PrincessScrumpy congrats on your twins. I hope the pregnancy goes well.
BabyCarmen I've my fingers crossed for you to get a BFP.
