Has anyone got pregnant after coming off the depo?

But not having their period?

I have googled and some people have said yes this is possible and others have said no, and then i googled whether it is possible to ovulate but not have period and that suggested that you could. But where does the ovulation go if you are not having periods.

Any who, if anyone could answer this for me that would be great.

I did! Am 13 weeks tomorrow - depo ran out new years eve, pregnant by end of feb and not a period. If I'm honest the 13 weeks for that reason is a bit of a guestimate as no real idea when I ovulated but am basing it solely on clearblue pregnancy tests with the date things (did 3 and kept on moving up the weeks!) until our scan on Thursday!

If you don't mind me asking, how long were you on it, before you stopped using it?

i was on it for 7 years.

took 3 years and 2 mcs to get ds, ive since had another 3 mcs.

I completely blame the depo on my 1st 2 mcs and the length of time it took to have ds.

I had Ds, then I was on it 5 years then came off it to conceive DD.

It took approximately 18 months to conceive DD and the periods were abit hit and miss when I came off it. (they took ages to arrive - months)

I was on it for 4 years continually before I stopped. As I said it took me about 7 weeks to conceive and (touch wood) all seems fine so far.

I was on it for about 5 years, it took 5 months for me to get anything the resembled a period and then a further 4 to turn into a normal cycle. I got pregnant 11 months after stopping it.
