Hi,

I have my 1st apointment on Thursday, 8+2 days and was wondering if she will be able to hear the heartbeat or is it too early?

I have had 3 MC's and last one was a MMC around 9 weeks and although I had a scan last week I am so scared that something has happened.

I have had brown spotting since 5.5 weeks and keep wondering if I am still pregnant or not. Wish I could afford a scan everyday!

Thanks

xx

too early for heartbeat, i think that's more around the 15/16 week mark iirc

fwiw i had bleeding around teh 6 week mark with all 3 of my pregnancies, and it's really, really common around this stage.

hope all goes well on thursday :)

first MW appointment is usually filling in your blue folder, taking some stats and some bloods. (I had mine on Thurs for baby 3)

I had some bleeding in my first pg and now have a very lovely 7.5yr old. My best mate bled in all of her three pg. (I'd never suggest you ignore anything that's worrying you, but sometimes sharing on MN can at least keep you sane til you get to speak to someone professional)
