We went to antenatal classes and found them quite helpful in preparing for the birth. I also think it made everything a bit more real for dp! I would recommend them if you are able to go to any.

I decided not to go to antenatal as don't really like being round people I don't know,sounds crazy I know but I have done loads of internet research even a couple of online classes and have bought every pregnancy and breastfeeding book out there I think lol so feel quite at ease. Also I do have some medical background although obs n gynae was never my forte. It's a decision only you can make but there's plenty of help out there from all sorts of areas. I have also found mumsnet one of the best places to find out things and get questions answered. Hth
