When did you feel the first proper kicks of your baby? Not the flutterings etc, but actual kicks and moving around! x

With my 1st I can't remember sorry. With my 2nd was 20 weeks anterior placenta, with this one I am 20 weeks and haven't felt anything at all really, but I do have a low lying anterior placenta so not sure if this affects it or not.

It took ages for me to identify proper kicks in my first pregnancy, can't remember how many weeks. With my 2nd it was a lot sooner, starting at maybe 20 weeks and getting progressively stronger throughout. I was amazed when a delicate little baby appeared rather than a professional footballer!

i am preg with my first and felt proper kicks at 19weeks, DH able to feel them a week later.

think i'm feeling mine now! And my tummy has also just 'popped' out in the last 2 days. I'm 18weeks and a bit with my 3rd though and i think some folk say you feel them earlier when it's your 3rd? Took a while with my 2nd though as i had a low lying placenta.....

oooo I can't wait!!!
Am 19 weeks and have felt a few flutterings (which could easily be mistaken for muscle twinges if I wasn't looking out for them!) but really want to get some kicks!
We have our first haptonomy appointment on the 20th and we need to have felt kicks by then, so I've got 10 days until it becomes a problem Grin

Pregnant with my first and started being able to distinguish wind from kicks at 17 weeks but this seems to be quite early. Have lost loads of weight in first trimester though so am guessing not much of a fat layer left to muffle the sensation. Been able to "see" kicks on tummy really early on as well.

Hoping it doesn't mean we'll have a crazily overactive child as now at 23 weeks there is no stopping him.
