This may be long, bare with me...

So I had DD 7 1/2 months ago (32+ weeks). Since having her I had very heavy periods when she was 12 weeks and 15 weeks both lasting about 2 weeks. Then light but painful period when she was 19 weeks. Then did HPT when AF seemed late (although I knew my cycle was likely to be erratic) and got a BFN. AF came at 24 weeks but very very light and again very very painful. Then nothing again so did a HPT at about 30 weeks which was a BFN. AF came at 31 weeks but lasted 3 days and very light but not painful. That finished last tuesday and have since had a bit of cramping, felt nauseous a few times, and couldn't drink my pimms on saturday afternoon (not like me!). I've had sore nipples for about 3 months and have just put that down to hormones or something (I'm not BF so nothing to do with milk I wouldn't think).

FWIW we're not TTC but have had unprotected sex a few times. We're doing that "if it happens, it happens, if not then that's fine too" sort of thing.

When I fell pregnant with DD, I'd been bleeding every day for 2 1/2 years so I know I must have some kind of hormone problem although no one ever found out the cause of my constant bleeding. I also bled solidly until 7 weeks pg with DD and had 2 more lots of bleeding which seemed like periods.

I'm just so confused about it all. I feel reluctant about going to the GP, partly because they were so unhelpful when I was having all that bleeding before DD and during pregnancy, and partly because I've read other women's experiences of their GP's being dismissive about similar things.

What should I do? Confused

Also, nearly forgot, I've been getting weird spasm things that I've never had before but feel just like baby movements!!!

I know, I know, stop being stupid!

have you actually thought of POAS'ing?

nickstermum · 09/05/2011 13:37

Or have you had a recent BFN?

Sounds like you are not getting good enough support from your docs. Did you have referrals to consultants regarding your bleeding pre and post baby??? With your track history I can see it is difficult to follow the usual process of these things - I can understand your worries about the GP - I would go back though - I can be a wuss in these situations but I think it is those who shout loudest that get the results!!! I have a friend who has no problem being forthright and demanding and I am asking her to be my birth partner as I know she will stand up and not let any one mess me about when I might not be at my fighting best!! Have you someone like this that could with you to the docs??

nickstermum I last did a HPT 2 weeks ago and got a BFN.

Jill72 I saw 3 consultants, had an internal scan, colposcopy and hysteroscopy oh and a few smears. They never tested my hormone levels so I think they should be doing that but they just ignore me.
I know I should just go back. DP's maybe a bit too forthright and just starts arguments.

I might book an appointment and POAS in preparation so they can rule that out.

I hate having to be grown up and just do things like this. Sad
