Sore bump

Does anyone else find that their bump feels sore at times like they have been kicked or bruised? Mine tends to feel very tender sometimes. Hope there isn't something wrong!

I had a painful bump from about 20wks, it was like my skin was about to tear or I was going to explode. It did calm down but like you say was very tender at times, I think it's just everything growing - how many weeks are you?

I'm sixteen weeks and two days today. Bump isn't always tender and sore but sometimes I can't bare my DP touching it! Glad I'm not the only one. Thanks littlemiss72 x

Mine does too Renaissance, I'm 33 weeks today & sometimes it just feels so tender. I think it's just where the skin has stretched .etc but ask your MW if you're worried.

I will WiiUnfit. Thank you. I'm really glad I'm not the only one because it was starting to worry me. I have a pregnant aunty at the min and she isn't tender at all! x

May be worth just mentioning it to your MW when you see them anyway - I don't know of any complications resulting in tender bumps but it will put your mind at ease if nothing else. :)

As for your Auntie - don't try to compare your pregnancies, every one is different! :)

My belly button is the most sore spot, feels like a little bruise, but I've reasoned it's because it's somewhat inside out at the moment!

Also, baby has been in the same position for weeks and I've sometimes got a sore spot under my ribs when she kicks around there.

Its funny you mentioned that as only this evening, I said to my OH that my "bump" felt sore, amost like it was bruised. Glad I am not the only one, looks like its normal. I am 16 weeks tomorrow.
