hi every one am 35+5 and feel rubbish:
Can't sleep, feel over inflated, uncomfortable, varicose veins that hurt, headaches, crying all the time, shouting or moaning at every one, (even though they haven't done anything) then cry more, feel awful for giving kids a hard time but can't seem to stop,
Is any one else feeling like this coz I don't remember it being quite so early on in other pg's or quite so bad.

Think I'm at almost exactly the same stage as you. I feel really big, not a lot of room left, quite sore, don't want dp to keep putting his hands on my tummy because it hurts but then I feel mean.

Am having afternoon sleeps most days, much more mobile and comfortable in the morning (apart from sore hips when I wake up!) I am waking up at weird times a lot as well.

I'm not crying though, not yet anyway. Having to be monitored a lot because the baby is quite small for dates but with lots of fluid also I am diabetic so being kept a close eye on.

I just want her to be here now, quite quite bored with being pregnant, I wanted a beer in teh sunshine so much!

Sorry you are feeling crappy, the only thing you can do is keep telling yourself it's only a few more weeks!

Almost6 · 08/05/2011 21:22

Yeah I know what you mean with sore hip, Also afternoon naps too, but I have been told baby is "feeling a rather good size" in midwives words! And the dh don't seem to interested In bump unless other people are around then get the devoted dh type of attention!
Hope things go well at your nxt appointment and you get some good news.
and hopefully our little bundles will arrive a tad early, coz I'm feeling very impatient!

Hi, I'm 35 weeks and have felt rubbish for weeks - it's only got worse - can't sleep as my back and hip are inpain constantly, so am tired irritable irrational ans emotional. Tummy is very sore and feels as if DD is try to burst out or saw her way out sometimes. Also having sharp pains in my bits because she is apparently on a nerve. Got loads to do before she's born and am really struggling. Like being pregnant bjut not enjoying side effects at mo, so have every sympathy with you. x

coldcomfortHeart · 08/05/2011 22:25

Nearly 36 weeks and am terribly weepy- also knackered but that's more due to a sleepless toddler than anything else!

Trying to recall how I felt this time last pg but have concluded that physically I felt similar (big, awkward, creaky pelvis etc) but my time was my own last time and that really would be nice!

coldcomfortHeart · 08/05/2011 22:26

bloody extra * sorry

SavannahRose · 09/05/2011 19:24

Feel like bob if I'm honest. Just posted on the first pag :( wish I could sleep for the next 4+ weeks then baby just arrive :) be great ......

Booboostoo · 09/05/2011 22:17

35 wks and feeling totally fed up. My back is killing me, the B-H make me want to wee all the time, I can't sleep at night but sleep all day, I waddle at snail's pace, nausea has returned and my stomach is half up my throat!

...I suspect birth may be worse though!

SavannahRose · 10/05/2011 08:42

How are we all today :) any better or the same?
Unfortunately I'm the same, still got loose bowels, back ache snotty don't know how long this is going to last nut not enjoying this 2nd preg. top of my bump yesterday was churning and is this morning had a few strong BH last night too.

Almost6 · 10/05/2011 09:39

Thanks for asking Savannah your loose bowels could be body clearing out for labour, but there are a few bugs going round too, hope your feeling better soon. With previous pg's always got a cold before labour but always felt better once baby arrived!

Although still have all the aches n pains, Feeling a bit happier today! Although think I'm just looking forward to going out for lunch :)
Morning sickness has returned too which is really odd as never had it with other pg's!
Why is it that the first 30 or so weeks fly by, then the last ones drag by sooo slowly! But on the brighter side not long left now ( here's hoping they all come a little bit early). Started epo, and even going for walks (which is so not me, I love my car) anything that may help get things started!

Also just wondering if anyone else get stabbing pains in cervix when they have a bh, never noticed this before either and was wondering if it's normal or if my body is just saying enoughs, enough no more pg's!

I get the stabbing too maybe it's normal? I don't know I give up guessing what my pains are as I have enough!. I'm currently in the bath as my back is killing me and I feel like I need a pop but don't :( I've had the troots for 4 days now :( feel a tad sick today aswel and snotty. Might just go bk to bed!! But have 4 yr old DD running around driving me mental! Think I may have lost my mucus plug thing this morn? Wiped and tissue was full of whitish goo thick and stringy? No blood but defo thicker than discharge? Any ideas x

WalterFlipschicks · 10/05/2011 10:19

Savannah sounds very much like it, mine (last pg) came out in one big blob (tmi) but I'm not sure if that's always the case?

Can I join in please, I am only 30 weeks but having twins, had to go to delivery last night with really uncomfortable tightenings and lower bump stabbing pains, she said because my bump is so big my body is feeling like full term and this will probably continue til I give birth now :(

The overwhelming, could sleep anywhere if eyes closed longer then a blink, feeling has returned and DH and I run our own business so finishing before the end of may is out of the question... feeling so crappy, grumpy screaming tantruming nearly three year old not helping either :(

Hope everyone is feeling ok this morning and you don't mind me joining this thread at 30 weeks, but the twin thread moves so fast I get very lost! Grin

SavannahRose · 10/05/2011 10:24

Not at all welcome! I only joined yesterday. It's nice to chat to ladies similar to yourself! X

humph123 · 10/05/2011 12:12

I'M 36 weeks - and my hips are KILLING me in bed. so uncomfortable it's getting me down. just have to make sure i have an afternoon snooze to make up for it. i had a big emotional wobble on sunday - got so exhausted shopping and had one of those crappy trolleys that wanted to go in just one direction. got home and blubbed my head off. just felt huge/tired/emotional and want it OUT!

camdancer · 10/05/2011 13:34

I'm 36+5, it's DS's 4th birthday and I'm a moody, nasty bitch. Today should be a fabulous day for DS and I'm just in the worst grump. Poor DD bore the brunt of it this morning. Looks like it'll be another DVD afternoon here.

Any ideas of how to hold myself together for what could be another whole month? Sorry, not really in a positive mood atm.

Almost6 · 10/05/2011 16:19

camdancer it's horrible when you feel like that on a dc's birthday, eldest was 13 last week and I my dd's later this month so am having to bring her party forward, (like I really feel like doing 1). But will only have 10 days to go on her bday. Also have 13 yr olds party this weekend as had to cancel last weekends one, just looking at it that at least it keeps me busy!
humph the only thing I find helps with my hips is pillows every where (no room for dh in my bed at mo),they are wedged behind, in front, under n between legs, then swap sides each time you have to get up to wee! But you prob already do that!
Walter can't offer you any advice on tantruming dc, I have one of those too but he's 2.5 and is tiring at the best of times(not to mention when you've had no sleep) but welcome to the thread and congrats on twins!
I have mw tomorrow, wonder how big I'll be measuring this time? Don't think I can take another comment like " he feels a good size" not that I'm allowed a growth scan to see how big he is, just says those comments to scare living daylights out of me! (have visions of this one coming out crawling as previous was over 9,6!)
