how long do I have left then. I will be only 37w on Monday. Will she still be inside for a week a two?? can I still walk as much as before?? it feels really weard and heavy and stretching and uncomfortable

Sounds like baby has engaged. Is this your first? If it is then often happens weeks before birth and, yes, you can still walk as far as you want..unless it becomes uncomfortable!

is my second, but the first was 18 years ago. it doesn't really count :)) + I don't remember much.

DS (my second) did this at 32 weeks Everyone thought he would be early but he showed up right on time.
Walking does feel odd - like having a bowling ball between your legs. On the positive side you can breath much more easily again :)

Just walk as far as you feel comfortable and enjoy the excuse to collapse on the sofa with cake whenever you can :o

As it is not first be aware that things can happen more quickly, even though many years later!! By my 3rd pregnancy baby engaged 20 hours before birth! 37 weeks is the crucial point..after that they are not really considered as premature and often need no extra help (learnt this from the special care nurses when my twins were born at 36+5)!Good luck!

thank you girls! It does feel weird, I don't think I had it with my first one, back then I was induced actually.
It is like having some heavy weights attached to the bottom of my belly now...
