how much bloody show comes out? (TMI...)

I woke up this morning with some bloody show but I'm not sure if this is the real thing or not. It looked exactly how it was supposed to but wasn't very much. Two blobs about the size of a teaspoon each. I've heard the show can be really huge so is this just a little bit of it? Does this mean things are probably still days/weeks away? Thanks for any info :)

I only had little amounts with my show, and they were around 40 weeks, slightly under, I still went over 5 days. Your heading in the right direction but there's no guarantee it's going to happen today, sorry, hopefully it will do x x x good luck x

I didn't have my show until I was having contractions (possibly because my waters never broke, I ended up pushing them out - I'm not sure if they're related though) and when it did come it was only a small amount.

TBH I think if it looks like a show then it probably is a show. But like copper says it can be a while before anything happens.

Looks like the baby's on the way anyway. How exciting!

I had a 50p piece of what looked like blood-streaked jelly about 2 days before labour started. My waters never broke though.
