Hi,

Am very worried and wondering if any other MNs have been experiencing anything similar?

I am 7 weeks pg and yesterday noticed pink discharge on the toilet paper. During the day this turned brown, then bright red and now dark red. It spots on a panty liner but is mainly visible on the toilet paper. I've also had back ache and period like pains (on and off).

There was no blood when I woke this morning but it started again during the day so I have an appt at the EPU on Monday morning for a scan. It's going to be a long weekend :(

I'm getting myself worked up into a right old state and petrified i'm going to lose the baby :(((

I just wanted to say thank you for posting on my thread. It really helped having others to talk to.

I've been bleeding heavily all week and passed a couple of large clots. It's easing off now and I have a scan on Monday to see if there is anything left.

I hope those of you that have also experienced a loss get a baby in your arms soon xx

Hi HTBA, well it was as I'd expected - uterus was empty except for a little bit of blood that they said would come out over the next week. I felt totally drained by the time I got home after shedding so many tears recently and especially this morning. They were really good at the EPU and listened to me and answered all my questions and said because i'm 35+ if I were to be unfortunate and have another m/c they would have me in for tests because of my age (so after 2 m/c rather than 3).

Pregnancy tests are still positive though so it's hard to move on quite yet. DH & I are keen to try again as soon as we can though given that i'll be the big 40 next year so just need to wait and see how things go.

My best friend had a baby the day before my miscarriage and I've decided not to tell her about it (just yet anyway), what do you think?

We are going on hols next month with friends and she also had a miscarriage very recently, am sure there will be tears shed over some wine as we should both have had our 12 week scans and shedding tears of joy, not sorrow. Oh well!

How have you been? This really sucks doesn't it :( xx I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy.

Im so sorry to hear this pie :( Everywhere i look i see pregnant women! I am coping ok today, But i am very up and down, I go from wanting to try for a baby right away to not wanting to try incase i lose the baby.

I have told some friends, I had mixed responses from, Oh no im so sorry to, Oh you have two already you didnt want anymore did you (pregnancy wasnt planned but very much wanted may i add) I am so hurt by some comments, But they cant really see the pain as i already am so worn out by this all.

I think by telling your friend with the new born baby will only make it hard for you both :( When your ready and feel its the right time you could try and fight back the tears while you tell your friend, I wish you luck!

I hope you and your DH will be ok, I hope will all go onto having a happy healthy baby when we are ready to try again.

I myself have had 2 MC so will also need tests if i go onto have a 3rd :(
