I know I need to call the midwife but there is no one there until 9am and DP is asleep.

I was cramping loads last night, had to take my perscribed paracetamol for the pain. I woke up and it was gone.

However ive started cramping again and just been to the toilet and there was mucusy blood there Sad and now im scared.

Baby was super active last night whilst I was cramping, I havent felt anything so far today yet.

Anyone else had this before I drive myself mad :(

You should have the number for your local maternity ward. Mine is on the front of my notes. Or google it. Or just call your local hospital and ask to be put through. Whichever way you get it, just call them! If nothing else you need your mind putting at rest.

I hope you're okay x

Agreed. Call the delivery suite and possibly go in and get check by your day assessment centre asap. ((hug))

I would go in to the delivery suite or the day assessment unit (and wake your DP up now!!!!)

Go straight to you local pregnancy assessment unit. It may well be nothing - I had bleeding at 29 weeks and they couldn't find any reason for it, but I spent a few hours at the PAU being thoroughly checked out!

What everyone else said. Call then go NOW. It isn't worth risking anything else.

Good luck, thinking of you. :)

I had exactly the same at 23 weeks and called the delivery suite, they were really nice and suggested i go in and get checked out.
I had an internal examination and they said my cervix was very 'ripe' Blush but everything was fine. I stayed overnight to make sure the bleeding stopped and they gave me an anti-d injection. Ive been fine since and im 32 weeks today.

How have you got on???

WinterLover · 06/05/2011 14:00

Just got back, baby is fine had loads of checks and they put it down to PV bleeding. They gave me anti-d and if I get any more bleeding I've got to go back.

Now laid on the sofa with duvet, hot water and doggy.

Thankyou so much for your support :)

Hiya Winter - just seen this and very glad that all is well for you!!

jenga079 · 06/05/2011 15:24

Phew!!!! So pleased to hear everything's okay.

Take it easy. Enjoy the duvet/sofa combination (there's nothing quite so comforting as dragging your duvet to the sofa is there?!)

WinterLover · 06/05/2011 15:33

Hi harrassed thanks :) how's you?
