How about Freecycle? There may be people in your local area/postcode who might have one.

I would say get a second hand one...baby may hate it!

Where do you live? I got the starlite swing from a mamas and papas factory outlet store in huddersfield for £62. Was reduced to £68 then had 10% offer on. Brand new in the plastic bag just not in a box. Not sure if its anywhere near you or if there are any others but worth a try.

am getting one off kiddicare for about £50. just waiting for it to come into stock. Only had a really basic bouncer for DS and want something for DC2 to be comfy in for longer periods as I will have DS to deal with. It has some toys across but not sure about music and lights.

jimmijam · 11/05/2011 21:12

yay, just got one off ebay for £30!!!! (£15 plus £15 postage) with lights, 5 swing speed settings, music and can connect mp3 player (can put some of the kids music onto it, maybe a few more lullaby downloads too so dont get so bored of them). am soooooo excited :-)

same here with the bouncer, this time around we'll also have a 5yr old and 3 yr old to entertain so figured a swing would b a good idea, also wish id seen it when our ds was tiny as he was hard 2 settle and i feel he would have loved it
