Beta HCG levels?

Hi
I am new here and looking for advice:-)

I have one daughter and am now about 5.5 weeks pregnant.

I have had far too many miscarriages to think off-some quite late in the first trimester so i had an early scan done two days ago which just showed the GS so far. I also had bloods done for beta HCG and again today. I have to ring tomorrow to find out the results and be rescanned end of next week. I have also started baby aspirin as i did this with my daughter under the consultant's advice.

Any one know what the hcg levels should have done withing two days?

Many thanks:-)

at this stage of PG, they like the HCG levels to go up by at least 2/3, or to double within 48 hours (but there are a minority of healthy PGs where they don't increase as much as that - happened to me), so the scan is more important than the HCG levels at this point.

This page is very informative, and there is a calculator you can use which checks if your levels are OK and makes a nice little graph for you too Smile

Here is the gist of it, but note the words "most" there are still exceptions to the rule.

"In most normal pregnancies at hCG levels below 1,200 mIU/ml the hCG usually doubles every 48-72 hours and it normally increases by at least 60% every two days."

Sorry for your losses, I really hope this pregnancy turns out differently. Best of luck.
