Positive stories please.

Am really really hoping that I will not suffer with my second as I did with my first. Tell me this can be true, Please!

Hmm. I'm pregnant with my 4th and am having the dreaded all day sickness for the 4th time. I will have spent over a year of my life feeling like this in a couple of weeks. Did yours subside? Mine had gone by 15 weeks with the first three and am really hoping it will be the same. So not really positive - but great deal of sympathy and recognition...

It started in month 2 and didn't stop til month 5. Just looking back on notes I made with my first pregnancy. It seems that by the time I was exactly 6 months I could eat one full meal a day, what a bonus!

Oh you poor thing - not all pregnancies are the same though. A friend was in hospital twice with her first pregnancy sickness - felt rough but not at all that bad with the next two. Fingers crossed for you and big sympathy if you need it! And congratulations too!

I felt rough as arseholes all the way thought my first pregnancy and absolutely glowing with my second.

fingers crossed you are the same :)

I had same sickness with pg2 (am still pg) and found it very tough to cope with. only saving grace was that it seemed to lessen after about 10 wks to a much more manageable level and I was then much less miserable.

Just find as much help and sympathy as possible. And do as little as possible.

I was fine with my first two (boys) but was sick as a dog 24/7 with dd. Actually sick 3-5 times a day until 16ish weeks. Am now 6 wks and have all day nausea but only been ill once, so a def improvement!

The bonus was that I was slimmer after giving birth than before my bfp!

Feel fine right now as very early days. Only just found out so shhhh, don't tell anyone!

Fingers crossed for a sickness free pregnancy.

I was sick with DD and signed off work from week 7 to week 14. Was on tablets but avoided hospital. Diet was very limited though - sweets, coke, plain pasta.

This time I still felt pretty awful in the first trimester, but it kicked in later. Was off work for three weeks from week 10 to week 13 and on tablets again.

But had much better appetite this time round (could eat almost anything if someone else made it, save for coffee/tea).

It started to get better at 14 weeks, just like last time. Now am 16 weeks and am tired, but not really sick anymore. Coffee and tea still not that nice, but I can drink them at least now!

Seems to get slightly better then 2nd time round?
