Can anyone tell me what the first movements feel like?
I have heard it's like flutterings and at 15 weeks I thought I was too early to feel much but I keep getting odd feelings that are hard to describe.
Confused! When should I start to feel baby move?

DD felt like popcorn popping.

Stong feelings or very gentle Flisspaps?

I've been feeling what I can only describe as 'bubbly' feelings. I'm nearly 19 weeks. Still not totally convinced its that babies yet though!

I'm pretty sure I felt mine at 15 weeks (am now 25 wks, my first baby). It felt like bubbles, but it wasn't wind. Other people have said like a butterfly brushing its wings but on the inside, or like Fliss above, like popcorn.
I am now getting beaten to a pulp, so enjoy it while they're still gentle :)

yes, gentle flutterings is about the right feeling! You will prob only feel them every few days this early on, so don't panic if they disappear for a while... I had 'flutterings' from around 15/16 weeks for my first 2 pregs (prob only a few times a week), but didnt really realise what they were until I went to my 20wk scan and saw baby kick on the screen and felt it in my bump at the same time. I didnt feel definite kicks until after 20wk scan with my first preg. Lots of midwives dismiss these flutterings as wind this early on, but i'm now on my 3rd preg and my midwife said "oh I expect you're feeling flutterings already" at my 15 wk appt (actually, they do feel more like wind this time!), thereby acknowledging that you can feel movement much earlier then text books say (i.e. 18 to 20 weeks onwards!). Enjoy the feeling - it'll soon turn to almighty kicks in the ribs and bladder!!

I am 17+6 at the moment and have been feeling movements for a couple of weeks now. At first I wasn't sure if it was baby, but now I'm almost certain it is - I'm learning to reckognise it now. I had some chocolate cake yesterday and after about 10-15 minutes the kicks were getting more hectic so i suppose the baby likes cake!! :)
