Been aware of lack of movement this morning, lots of BH... what can I do?

Might be labour? Might be BH masking movement but would like to check.

Have 2 toddlers so can't go and lie on my bed but what can I try to get him to move a bit? Lie on sofa? Have a drink of something? Eat something? Any ideas?

Just to make sure...

Hello,

I have 3 dc and very early pregnant wuth dc 4

If this thread would of popped up a few months ago i would of said, cold drink, chocolate etc.

But i really would say get checked out asap, im sure it is really nothing and could well be littlre one getting ready to pop out, but your midwife would be more than happy to check you over and you will be able to relax Smile

good luck

He was moving in the night as usual....

Hmm, I know what you mean, I've read the stillbirth thread which I think is why I'm worrying a bit more than usual. Going ot see if the kids let me lie on the sofa for 5 mins and try to tempt him to move (might be hard for me to feel it with the BH though)

Get checked out - always better to be on the safe side :)

Big glass of icy cold water & call your midwife.

Much better to get some reassurance.

Thanks everyone.

Spent 10 mins on sofa and managed to annoy him enough by being in an uncomfy position (I imagine) that he kicked me 3 times in a row Grin

Will keep an eye for the rest of the day though.

Am secretly hoping this is the start of labour (am 38+4 and v impatient)
