So.... put a load of washing on last night, couldnt work out what the banging was as it started going round, thought the washing machine was about to blow up but ignored it anyway......

dragged everything out when it had finished and out dropped my iPhone! Ooooops!

Going to phone the bank later who we have free mobile insurance with - hopefully can play ignorant that i didint know i should have registered my phone!! other than that it may have to be the home insurance!

my main concern is what im going to do without facebook!

My iPhone survived a bubblebath-there is hope! Took a couple of days to recover though!
In fact a previous phone I stuck in the washing machine did work after a little drying out time too :)

I've heard taking it apart and putting it in a glass of rice helps absorb the water.another one was putting it in pure spirits as that will push out any moisture and then dry up without residue but sounds a bit strange to me. If it doesnt work good luck with the insurance.

Its cuddling the immersion heater as we speak. Downside to the iPhone is it cant be take apart!

have got insurance with the bank and it turns out we are covered automatically so hopefully can get sorted tonight when I have all the details!
