A purely nosey curious thread :)

I'm 21+3 with a DD and my cravings are a bit all over the place, they keep changing.

Right now it's ice-pops, can't get enough of them. Pickled onions too and all things garlic (both of which set off wonderful amounts of heartburn). Not so keen on meat or fish at the minute, it all just tastes wrong.

Right this second... A nutella crepe.. 2 hours ago, sprite 3 hours ago... Anything that would stay still long enough for me to eat it. :)

apricotears · 04/05/2011 23:36

I am craving really savoury things like pickled onions, gherkins, tomatoes, olives. Basically anything that repulses my DH apparently! lol.

MrsVidic · 05/05/2011 06:06

Cheese - smoked cheese, dairylea with French stick

Ice Lollies

I am dreading weighing myself

cassnstar · 05/05/2011 08:01

Just right with mango bio yoghurt and goats milk. Pretty healthy and what i have if up in the middle of the night!

prolificwillybreeder · 05/05/2011 08:12

Coke, pasty and purple packet niknaks.
7up and Chinese takeout
Croissant, butter and jam with a big pot of coffee

Sadly the reality is redbush tea and oatabix :(

Pineapple- have been entire pregnancy. Pina coladas (non-alcoholic and with fresh pineapple) and those cola bottle candies.

Apple juice.
Seriously strong spreadable cheese.
Cheese on toast with red onion chutney.

lolajane2009 · 05/05/2011 08:36

kfc and coke/pepsi... both things i hadnt consumed for eighteen months before I got pregnant... i feel really guilty about having both.

WaspsAnkles · 05/05/2011 08:39

Asparagus in every shape or form.
Pears and strawberries.
Sugar puffs
Ham sandwiches (would also kill for some parma ham or smoked salmon but have been very good so far)

Could be worse I guess.

lolajane2009 · 05/05/2011 08:40

oh and beer and wine

missnevermind · 05/05/2011 09:17

Tinned peaches

bilblio · 05/05/2011 09:22

Started with vinegar, particularly salt & vinegar butties.
Now it's fruit.... oh and fried egg and mushroom butties.

Last time it was just fruit... which is a bugger because I'm allergic to loads of fruits.

Astrophe · 05/05/2011 09:24

savoury, tasty, salty things - good pizza, olives, feta, fish with butter and herbs, hommous and other dips with fresh flat bread, chicken caesar salad...

and with the busy-ness of 3 DC and lack of motivation for food prep that comes with feeling sick and sore, what am I actually eating?... biscuits, honey sandwiches and tea.

LadyGoneGaga · 05/05/2011 10:31

Raw carrots, celery, apples - at least its healthy. Oh and obsessed with brushing my teeth. And the smell of certain cleaning products.

Last time was scotch eggs and pork pies Hmm.

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 05/05/2011 10:57

I've been through various phases.

First it was the chicken, spinach and avocado sandwiches (despite being veggie...)
Then the grilled veg and strong cheese
Then the peanut butter on toast with vast amounts of fruit
Then the smoothies
Then the ice and the chalk (I didn't, no)
Now Trebor's extra strong mints, and no other brand will suffice

NewMummy5July2011 · 05/05/2011 11:16

Really cold things - icy cold milk, juice, water and obsessed with eating ice for some reason.
Juicy things - fruit (especially sweet grapes, pineapple and pears)
Ice cream and yogurt yum
Wotsists (not sure how to spell them!)
Chedder cheese and laughing cow!

Haven't craved much savoury stuff, mostly been sweet - I try to limit how much sweet stuff I eat which is hard hard hard!!

iWILLdothis · 05/05/2011 12:52

Port Salut cheese on Carr's cheese melt biscuits....mmm...

rasta · 05/05/2011 12:59

Iceberg lettuce sandwiches, on white bread.

Later on in pregnancy, it was ice. Couldn't get enough of the stuff, was crunching my way through around 8 or 9 pints of ice a day. Turns out, I was anemic and this was a sign of that. Since being put on iron tablets the craving has totally stopped.

Apparently it's called Pica Cravings, which is a non-food craving, and can sometimes indicate a lacking of something else. More info HERE

pickled eggs and chorizo sooo much. Combined in a sandwich with mayo..brilliant!

UntamedShrew · 05/05/2011 14:06

A nice cold lager! I don't drink the stuff usually but this is killing me...

NickyE119 · 05/05/2011 14:14

Bags and bags of jelly sweets, I have one a day especially the sour ones although I may have to give them up due to acid reflux in the middle of the night. Walnut whips and anything strawberry flavoured. Just had an Asda strawberry fool and now onto a strawberry milkshake. Its probably why I look and feel like a weeble!

Ifancyanewname · 05/05/2011 14:48

Ice from the freezer, the really frousty frost, i have to leave the door open just to let it build up :)

natwebb79 · 05/05/2011 15:14

Fruit Pastille lollies. Boxes of the things. I nearly cried the other night when my local Tesco Express had run out (probably my fault!) and I had to make do with a box of Fabs. Far inferior.

BreastmilkDoesAFabLatte · 05/05/2011 16:19

Yes, I've had the same problem with my local Tesco Express. Whenever I go in there craving things too often, they tend to run out...
