I certainly would pack notes and hosp bag as well as researching where the hospitals are. You just know that if you dont......
re the baby seat - if there is room in the car I guess, otherwise its something DH can go out and get if it all kicks off.
Very jealous of your holiday though, have a fab time...take it easy and do alot of sitting and eating cream teas (eeek, is clotted cream ok?)x

I would take notes, car seat and hospital bag if I were you. Might be worth looking up phone numbers for the hospitals/labour ward just in case as well. I always like to be well prepared, as in my experience if you're not prepared for the worst then sods law says it will happen!

ahh ok! and all I'd been worrying about was how fat I'm going to look on the beach haha and how uncomfortable I'm going to be in the sun and won't be able to surf as that would be bad and I'm pretty sure my wetsuit wouldn't even go on never mind do up at the moment!!
The thought didn't even cross my mind until this morning when I figured hmm that's less than a month from due date I wonder whether I should be more prepared for then...
(we normally camp but that's not really a comfortable option this year! so I'm rather looking forward to a soggy free week in Cornwall for once! Grin)

Treliske, Truro is a great hospital, one of the few in the area.

May i suggest you schedule lots of breaks on your journey down too. It will be uncomfortable to sit for long in the car.

suggest away - all suggestions greatly appreciated - first baby!

Well SamCam handily took her obstetrician, do you think yours would come with?

JazzAnnNonMouse · 04/05/2011 17:21

nope I don't think so - don't even know if I have an obstetrician?? (is this another word for midwife and I'm being extremely stupid??)

Your Dr, you probably don't have one if you are midwife led actually, don't mind me

sorry, forgot to say, congratulations and good luck, you are about to have the most amazing experiences of your life, DS1 is 11 and I would love to go back and do the last decade again, it's the best bit, enjoy.
