TMI alert...waters during intercourse??

Really sorry if TMI....Blush I am 40+1 weeks..

BUT....My DH and I had intercourse this morning and I was very dry down there (TBH wasn't really in the mood for sex)...hem...but literally 2 minutes later was soaking- even had some liquid dribbling down my thigh (it definitely wasn't pee or semen). We stopped having sex once this happened, and I haven't had any more leakage since. So I am not worrying or concerned about calling hospital.

Could it be that my hind waters went?? Or is it just likely to be increased pregnancy discharge? Was very strange, as it happened so quickly.

Can't answer your question, but why does anyone have sex when they don't feel like it?

clarabella18 · 01/05/2011 19:28

Did you orgasm? Could be female ejaculation, not many women do it but some definitely do.

Leilababyno1 · 01/05/2011 19:34

Flisspaps- because during 9 months of pregnancy, I mostly have never felt in the mood for sex BUT I like to consider my lovely DH too by obliging once in a while....Smile. I am also overdue now, and lots of MWs say that sex can be a good way of getting things moving. I am very ready to get this baby out- very big and uncomfortable!

Leila we're clearly in sync!

We did the deed a little earlier and although finished (ahem!) things are feeling v.damp down there. more than the usual, IYNWIM.

Hmmm.

Put a pad in and see what happens. Then look to call MW if you're still worried. x

Good advice, thank's LittleMilla. I haven't had any more fluid leakage since then, so not really sure what it was?! Very odd though, I will keep an eye out.

Also, my bump seems to have suddenly REALLY dropped, when I sit on the sofa with my legs up my belly is now resting on the setee!

Lol - wonder what's going on with your bump!?!?!?

Now for waaaaay TMI, but I really shouldn't have done it earlier. Now unable to tell difference between you-know-what and what I thought was the beginning of my show. Oh lordy!

Good news is that I am getting some intermittant cramping. COME ON BABY!! Let's see you before the entire bank holiday is over!

I think you are DEFINITELY on your way to meeting your baby very soon. Apparently, things often get going during the night. So, you may find you wake up tonight with strong contractions!!

Rest up, eat your last pre labour meal (it may be a while before you get to enjoy another) and get bouncing! Smile
