Yes that will happen if you take it apart. You can't take it to mean anything if you've dismantled it.

Pee on a stick, leave the thing intact and read it after the recommended time. If you see a line, you're pregnant. If it has colour and appears in time, then you can probably trust that you're producing hcg.

oh that maybe what it is then, maybe all these tests i have done are only showing up positive cause i take them apart.

I think it's possible that as your still not back to normal as it were then there's still hgc in your body from bubs - not sure how long it lasts though.

have you had any accidents you're aware of?
the tesco one - was that done yesterday but photographed today? - looks darker but wondering if it's dried out (excuse the term lol)
the FR one is very thin - but tbh i've not done a FR so not sure how they go - easiest way i'd say would be the CB ones - and or a blood test - see what your doctor says tomorrow.

oh goodness i think i will just go to docs tomorrow its driving me nuts

You won't still be testing positive due to a pregnancy.

Go to poundland and get the 2 for £1 pregnancy tests. They work just fine and there's nothing to dismantle. They're the same tests the gp will use anyway. Read them in the designated time.

Congratulations. Don't be scared - there'll be a nice gap between this one and the last one, it'll be tough at first but they'll be able to entertain each other soon enough Grin

BigCook · 04/05/2011 13:18

Congratulations xKatyx don't panic! Ull be fine. My cousin had another baby only 13 months apart from her first and nearly a year on and she loves the small age gap. She's said it's so easy just getting all the baby bits out the way together and watching them interact. Also because her ds1 was so young they've had no jealousy issues whatsoever.

I have just found out we are expecting DC2. You'll be fine!

She3po · 04/05/2011 17:51

Congratulations x

Don't be scared, it will all work out fine. A little hectic, but fine :)

hiya, dont dismantle it, its 2 disheartening. i believe there is always a line that looks like a positive hiding beneath the plastic, that you can only c when u take it apart, it looks just like a positive line (and is there whatever the result), but its not :-( if the test has been left together and u get a positive then :-)
