Chances of delving early? Someone please advise.......

I am currently on baby no' 2. Am 34 wks preg had 3 false calls. One at 27 wks, one at 31wks and one last wk. I have a SERIOUSLY bad cas of irritable uterus which sets my contractions off. Still feeling baby move ALOT but it's very low down like her hand are going to fly out of my fanjo!
Mid wife's at hosital and at GP don't think I will go the whole 40 wks but they kinda say it in a jokey way.....don't know whether to take them serious or not?
I've heard that seconds come early, what's the truth behind this?
Please can someone give me some advise or stories of there seconds?

My first was on their due date and my second the day after. Other people I know seem to have followed trend with what their first did, so if early before generally early again, etc. Apparently that goes out the window with a third though where it's all over the place (currently 35 with no.3 and sooooo keen for an 'early' one!). Fingers crossed the baby comes when you feel ready for it :)

My first was plus 5 days, my second plus 7 days, this pregnancy have absolutely no idea as have so many complications it's anybodies guess!! Hopefully I'll make it to 37 weeks!

dd1 tried to come at 32w - big bleed and clot followed by contractions. I was in hospital for 3 days and they gave me injections to slow it all down so the steroids could work to help dd breathe. It all stopped completely but I was told I wouldn't go full term. She was 2 days early! I would get your bag packed though and get things ready just in case. Good luck x
