Prep for Repeat Caesarean - wax or shave?

Am booked in for section number 3, and know the drill about shaving the incision area in preparation. Off to get legs waxed today and wondering if I can get my incision/scar area waxed as well, or am I better off shaving incase skin gets damaged and infection chances rise? Last section was nearly 2.5 years ago, scar healed well, no history of infection.

I didn't do either for mine and was not asked to. Different hospitals seem to have different expectations. Does skin often get damaged in the waxing process?

I was also asked not to for my repeat c-section last week - apparently shaving in advance is an infection risk (not sure if waxing is the same). If they need to do it they will do it in theatre immediately before, but like to try to get away without shaving now (this had changed since my last section 2.5 years ago). Check with your hospital if in doubt.

I was told to shave when i had my baby in november.
Thing is when they did my c-section (my 4th) they removed some of the scar tissue & skin so now i have hairs growing in most of my scar now.
