I had my first scan at what the MW thought I was between 9 and 11 weeks, turned out i was actually 13!! What a bonus. We are over the moon!! So far I think I have had it easy as haven't had any MS and not overly tired but I have felt SO bloated and now at 14 weeks I have completely lost my apetite which I hope stays as I am paranoid about putting loads of weight. I was trying to diet when I fell pregnant so I am the heaviest I have ever been and put on 6/7ibs already. Already bought maternity clothes as most of my jeans were too tight, they fitted but were a bit uncomfortable to wear all day. The maternity jeans I have are like PJ's, they are SO comfy!!

Be good to hear other peoples stories......

Tasha

I just found out I was 15 and a half weeks pregs with unplanned ds4 last week - completely missed my first trimester - result! Due 24th October. Shocked is the word really - I just worked out I've only had 6 periods since 2005- result again! Feel so so bloated - belly starts at bottom in the morning and by pm it's worked it's way up to under my boobs. Seem to have ballooned in last week.

jface27 · 10/05/2011 08:09

Blimey lollystix that must have been a shock. I take it you were feeling ok as you ve skipped the first tri! Congratulations to vanessamay on your first. So exciting. Is anyone else rhesus negative? I hate the injections they sting like mad! Feeling really rubbish today and just want to put my feet up and relax but my other two are driving me crazy already, play fighting and throwing toys around the living room! Great day ahead! X

shilay · 10/05/2011 08:35

Hey , I am a newbie too:) I am due 8th Oct. This is my first pregnancy and just found out I am having a baby girl!! So excited and nervous as still not feeling well (sickness and lower abdominal cramps)...

Anyone around Crowborough/Tunbridge Wells area? xx

Leo4 · 10/05/2011 09:02

I am due 4th of October. Haven't been on here long either. Also my first pregnancy but keeping sex a surprise ATM...!!

I live in Medway/Swale area....

Renaissance227 · 10/05/2011 09:22

I'm due on 23rd October and can't wait!! Congratulations Tasha x

shilay · 10/05/2011 10:35

Yup, Congratulations to all :)

I am so excited but nervous at the same time as found out got low lying anterior placenta during the scan...My doctor thinks it will move up and don't want me to worry at all. I commute to London 2 hrs each way so not sure if this is sensible thing to do :( So confused as always keep thinking what is right and wrong!!

Does anyone else go through these scary emotions!

jface27 · 10/05/2011 11:32

Yes I constantly wonder if im doing the right thing. With the two I have and the one in my tummy. But thats just what mummys do. Hope your placenta moves for you. LEO4 I admire you for leaving the sex as a surprise. I found out with all 3 of mine as I am abit of a baby and couldn't imagine waiting til the end. I like the idea but its too easy to find out these days.

shilay · 10/05/2011 13:19

jface thats true, moms worry all the time :) your kids must be so excited about having another bro/sis to play with!

Yup, we couldn't keep it as a surprise was too curious to find out. jface have you found out yet what you having?

jface27 · 10/05/2011 18:32

shilay, they are excited when you remind them! But at their age they forget so quickly and when they have no concept of time we re not going on too much as going to wait nearer the time to talk more to them. I am having another girl. So I will have boy, girl, girl. What about you? Are you struggling with names? We always have a hard time agreeing on names.

Scheherezadea · 10/05/2011 23:47

I'm due 12 October - spend 50% of time in Derbyshire, 50% in Trafford, manchester with family!

Leo4 · 11/05/2011 07:36

jface27 This is my first, but my mum didn't find out with any of her children. Also I don't think enough people do it these days. But obviously I know its personal preference. I think it gives the husband a role at the end of labour ie telling you its a boy or a girl and also after all that pain its a great surprise. I also feel like its unwrapping a Christmas present then wrapping it up again! Most of my friends have found out though and its still all a magical experience...

I like to guess mine and atm im swaying towards boy....!! :)

Leo4 · 11/05/2011 07:40

jface27 I have a little brother who is 5 (My mum and Dads BIG surprise) and i know exactly what you mean about children forgetting...but when he does remember he says 'you have been pregnant for agess...when is October I wish it could be here now'

crazycatwoman · 11/05/2011 08:00
