17 weeks - itching, acne, skin rash. HELP!

Hello! I'm 17 weeks today and for a couple of weeks now I've had the itching boobs thing which I understand is quite normal. But in the last few days I have developed a truly crazy itching/rash/acne thing going on, especially on my upper back and my hands, which is driving me nuts, to the point where I can't sleep properly. It's really uncomfortable. Has anyone else got this? Is it normal or should I seek advice? And if you've had it, could you please recommend anything to soothe it? It comes and goes but it's making me feel awful. Thanks!

Go to the doctors! I've had the same thing and felt a bit silly going to the doctors but was glad I did as it turned out I had a fungal infection and needed them to prescribe something to clear it up. Don't suffer in silence.

Get it checked out. Could be OC - liver function abnormality, can cause itching and the primary places you itch are the palms of your hands and soles of feet, can be anywhere though. Everything you read will tell you it only happens late in preg, this is a myth, a friend has it with every preg and both times it has started before 12 wks and she has had to be medicated, also had to be induced, DC1 was 30 wks & DC2 was 33 wks, bile acids were to high and it was safer for both to have baby out, both children are fine and DC2 didn't even have to go to SCBU!!
