Lingering pain after cramp

I had cramp in my left calf in the night on monday. It has left an on-going pain which I just cant seem to stretch ut. Yesterday I cycled to work and went to the gym but its still painful to walk on today. It does get mommenterily better if I stetch it, but doesn't seem to completely go away.
Anyone had this?

Hi Selina,

I haven't but read somewhere just now that you may be running low on magnesium? Apparently that causes cramps?
Sorry I can't be of more help

I've found if I get a really bad bout of leg cramp it leaves the leg sore for several days earlier. I'm 38weeks and have been taking a magnesium & calcium supplement since about 20 weeks, which I discovered in first pregnancy, it makes a huge difference and stops me getting leg cramp which I was really suffering with.

This happened to me on Weds night last week. The lingering pain lingered until about Saturday. I think if you get a particularly bad bout of cramp it takes the muscle a little time to heal. It's the second time it's happened to me since getting pregnant but have had it when not also.

Selina, how are you doing today?

Think it's similar to a pulled muscle, I had it after a bad bout of cramp once too. Not nice!

It is finally starting to get better, still a little tender though.
Thanks for asking.
