Got D&V, headache, lethargy, and a sore throat. Having a completely shameless moan about it because I can't take anything except para-frigging-cetamol and fluids, no point even seeing my GP because he wot be able to do anything. 19mo DS isn't agreeing to my plan of "wouldn't it be fun to go back to bed?" , and DH has half-inched the last of the icy cold pop I was looking forward to drinking (for my throat, therefore it's medicinal).

Self-pity over, feel free to slap me :)

I feel your pain Cbear!

Had a couple of horrible colds early on in this PG and it's so frustrating not to be able to take anything!

I'm over all that now and at 35 weeks my major complaints are a complete lack of pelvic floor (esp at night, and kegels seem to irritate my bladder more) and the appearance of a major case of thrush. Lovely Confused

Oh no, I feel terrible for you. Hopefully not lon left now for you though and you'll have a baby to make up for it all :)

The glamour of pregnancy!

Oh it's so wonderful isn't it?! Grin

And then of course there's the birth to look forward too....

I'm going to write a book called "all the things they don't tell you until it's too late" :)

Urg, was thinking it had passed after keeping breakfast down for half an hour but then it came back up. I can't even keep liquids down now :(

Rang the community midwife and she's said to get some lemonade in me and not worry about food as much as fluids and it should pass in 24 hours. I asked if all this puking will hurt Peanut: "maybe, maybe not, but hopefully not". Thanks for the optimism love!

Poor you CBear sending hugs.....and make sure you send DH out for more ice pops (or freeze some of that lemonade)

Thanks :)

He brought me a load of Jubbly pops and bags of sympathy so he's in the good books. I had some toast and soup which seems to have stuck (fingers crossed). Hoping for an early night and for it to be gone tomorrow.
