Hi guys just a bit worried need reassuring. I was wondering if
anybody has gone on any fun fair or theme parks ride.
It's just that I went on one today not thinking it was gonna do any harm
but there was a fair bit of shaking and pushing going on. Now I am worried if I harmed my bababy in any way. Maybe I am just over reacting am 16 weeks now

I think if a ride is unsuitable for pregnant women they have to put a sign up to say so. The signs are usually there in pretty big writing - so assuming you didn't see any signs up, I wouldn't worry about a bit of shaking/jolting. Babies are pretty well cushioned anyway.

This was a quite small local one so didn't see any signs st all. I just wish I didn't go on it now it looked quite tame but I ended up being pushed side to side quite hard. Yeh I suppose babies are protected to a certain extent. Thanks for that isthreetoomany.

I went horse riding all through my first 2 trimesters. Midwife told me it was totally fine as the baby is well cushioned. I only stopped when the bump got in the way of getting on and off easily.

I'm 37 weeks now, and didn't dare go on any rides at the fair this weekend in case it hurried things along, but would have if it was earlier in the pregnancy. In a couple of weeks I'll be wishing I had evicted the little one though, I'm sure!

Relax, and don't worry. If you had fun, the baby probably did too. You'll have a little daredevil in the making.
