I have just found a great white wine by Torres called Natureo. Tastes like wine, but with half the calories and less that 0.5% alcohol. Yum!
What will you be drinking on the day?

Scan day for me, so sadly I get to sit in a hpostial waiting room and will probably miss it.
So plenty of water in my case.

MainlyMaynie · 25/04/2011 10:32

Gosh, this must be great wine. You've only posted twice and they're both about Torres wine!

fallingandlaughing · 25/04/2011 10:36

Lol Maynie!

I will be drinking water, juice, milk, whatever. Can we keep the wedding of two people none if us know off the pregnancy board pleeease Dr Torres Julia? I mean, it is everywhere .

I quite liked that Torres wine....until I consumed the best part of 2 bottles over the course of Xmas Day and decided in fact it didn't taste THAT much like wine and was a little bit sickly.

I guess that's why they say all things in moderation eh?

4pudding · 25/04/2011 15:00

reported?

TethersEnd · 25/04/2011 15:10

This is hilarious... I would drink this great white wine by Torres called Natureo which tastes like wine, but with half the calories and less than 0.5% alcohol, but I could NEVER buy from a company that thought that this was a clever marketing strategy and clearly needed to pay its copywriters in real money instead of Fruit Pastilles.

So I'll stick to Buckfast.

cowboylover · 25/04/2011 15:10

I will be drinking Moet because I like it and if I only get one glass make it a good one!

LaWeasel · 25/04/2011 15:43

If you're not going to abstain from alcohol surely you'd have one glass of something proper?!

madwomanintheattic · 25/04/2011 15:49

tea.

Actually I did a PhD studying into Cot Death. And in my first pregnancy drank water the whole time cos I could not face anything etc. The second time it was coke all the way! Found this wine and thought I would mention it.

I'm not sure class A drugs were such a good idea either, TBH.

Which wine was it again?

usualsuspect · 25/04/2011 20:37

I can't see the point in drinking alcohol free wine

LaWeasel · 25/04/2011 20:40

It's not even alcohol free.

That's why I don't see the point.

Either do your own research and feel confident to disagree with the NHS, and decide not to obstain from moderate drinking in which case you can have whatever tipple you want - just not to excess.

Or have some juice/water/soft drink.

TethersEnd · 25/04/2011 21:41

Still, it'd be good if there were a great white wine which tasted like wine, but with half the calories and less that 0.5% alcohol...

...If only such a thing existed!

Ah well, never mind.
