Colour B4 while pregnant?

Does anyone know if it's safe to use Colour B4 while pregnant? I can't find any adviced on this before. I was on the point of using it to remove my build up of too-dark hair dye just before I found out I was expecting.

I can't imagine there would be any problems as colouring hair is safe enough. Just do a skin test as your skin is more sensitive while pregnant.

I dont know about using it in pregnancy - but what is it / where do you get it as my dye is all building up on the ends of my hair and its a bit of a different colour to the new dye on the roots?!

silverangel I got mine in boots, after reading all the reviews! If you can't find it in the shop, they do it online at boots.com. I finally got an answer from the manufacturers, btw, who say that it's fine after the first 12 weeks.

I have coloured my hair twice since being pregnant and I am 17 weeks. I first coloured it at 14 weeks.

Thanks babybaby - I coloured my hair through my last pregnancy, but Colour B4 is the opposite of a dye. It takes out old dye and build up (in theory). My has gone much too dark from build up, and I can't wait to strip it out!

I used the extra strength one (had to use 2 as my hair is long and thick) at 22weeks. I'm now 29 weeks now and baby is wriggling about livelier than ever.

when i was looking at it, just a hint - it doesnt work on hair dyed with LIVE. apparantly due to the silicone in the dye, it reacts with straighteners etc which means even colour b4 can't get rid. that came from the guy that invented it.

Bollards, Mines coloured with LIVE Blue Black and I bought some Colour B4 the other day. Bleach then? Grr. Is it worth me trying the Colour B4 or take it back?
