Anyone else's OH using pregnancy for a surge of glamming up and cleaning up?

Just curious really - I used to be a demon boozer (esp wine), and since I got up the duff me and OH went onto a healthy lifestyle, I am noticing he is LOVING the effect on his waistline. New glammy t-shirts, skinny jeans, quite a few furtive peeks in the mirror and pats of the tummy - he is getting really into the no beers.

Thing is, I'm only 11 weeks - so how pronounced is this going to get? I mean am I going to land up looking like a house while he lands up looking like some bloke out of a Comme Des Garcons advert? Anyone else noticed this phenomonen? ;)

LOL I've had the opposite!

I was doing weightwatchers pre-pg and whilst DP never grumbled I think he's quite enjoying the very relaxed attitude to food I've developed following weeks of morning sickness/not wanting to eat anything/not being able to face being in the kitchen let alone cooking anything decent and existing on tinned macaroni cheese and white bread and leaving him to fend for himself!

I'm the opposite too. I was on a very strict weight loss diet before the pregnancy and since the pregnancy I have increased my calories and I am less strict so because I eat the naughty food so does he. he tends to eat my leftovers and because my cravings are shortlived he often gets to finish off anything I don't want anymore.

I had awful sickness through each pregnancy and lost weight with each one, barely eating.

DH for some reason took this as an excuse to overeat and instead he piled on a couple of stone per pregnancy Hmm

And he carried on drinking. ..

agree opposite here, only good thing about DP being away as when PG most women nest - I bake & cook for england, he loves all the home baking so his poor waist line will be that of a house within a few weeks of coming home again - ah well!

Not really no. Lucky you! He has finished the bathroom though..

Can I borrow him disco?

My bathroom was started last May, my kitchen last March and now we're talking about starting the garden.....sigh....

On the plus side he bought me a lovely easter egg for the first time in 5 years and I got flowers on Valentines day for the first time ever, I think this pregnancys made him go a bit soft :)
