Hi I'm new,
Basicly feeling sorry for myself and fat. Am 24 weeks preg with baby no 3 and can cope with the bump which is getting bigger much faster this time (guess muscles have given up ) I can cope with huge boobs, bum hips etc but have now got swollen feet and ankles which I didn't ever get with other 2 and for some silly reason that's just too much . Am I completely mad or does this make any sense to anyone??

My feet are huge and puffy. I feel like an elephant. I can't wear any of my boots for my swollen feet and ankles.

I'm a naturally small-framed, slim person who's now stuck in ugly trainer type shoes and it's pouring rain here as well - can't zip up any of my boots.

I feel your pain.

itll be oedema, when you push your finger into ankles and feet does it leave a print behind?

tell the mw and make sure she checks your bp and urine

one good reason to be pg in summer - you can wear flipflops

Thanks you've made me smile
Just needed to feel like am not the only one, most of my friends have stopped at 2 so am doing pregnant again on my own as for some crazy reason we thought a third was a good plan (still do really) So no one really to grumble at cos pregnant complaining is dull if you not preg too.

you need to see the midwife, sounds like odemea to me (do as np said and press your fingers into the swelling, it'll leave an imprint very clearly if its fluid).

Yes, see a midwife or GP. I did have my oedema checked out, and it's making a print, BUT it's not lasting, my BP is fine and there's no protein in my urine. So it's just oedema. I had very severe oedema w/my last pregnancy as well.

Am stopping at 2 myself. Not b/c of swelling but for other reasons!

Am at midwife on monday, don't seem to leave a print if i poke it, they keep an eye on my bp anyway as was high later on both previous times. No worries about it being high at the mo as keep nearly fainting cos is a bit low! Better than being high but does worry everyone around me except for DH who is as used to it as I am and know if I sit down I'll be fine after a minute or two. Just realised I should be getting DS2 from preschool am terrible mother!

You may also be anaemic. I was feeling faint a lot from anaemia.
