Title says it all really.
I can't decide if I have a tummy bug or not. I feel fine. I am normally constipated so soft stools is unusual in itself.
Since yesterday I've been getting tummy upset like cramps/pain they come and go. They are at the bottom of my bump. I am uncomfortable felt sick with them too but not in pain. I then go to the bathroom and afterwards I'm fine, feel fine.

This just happened again this morning. Baby is wriggling about now.

Are these Braxton hicks? I didn't really have them with DS.
Should I be worried and call midwife?

My daughter has just had the same at 32 weeks, she did go to the Dr in the end as the pain dragged on along with spells of nausea, he has taken a urine sample and examined bump, thinks it was a tummy bug, still waiting for wee result, x

I'd go and get yourself checked out, no harm in it and will put your mind at ease Xx

I'd go and get checked out if I were you just to be safe, and put your mind at ease.

I normally suffer from IBS quite badly and am very constipated, but throughout both my pregnancies (am 36 weeks now) my poo has been looser and I'm going more regularly. It's as though the hormone that relaxes all your muscles during pregnancy has also relaxed my stressed out bowel! As for the tummy cramps, I always get them when I need to poo!

However, if the tummy cramps are unusual for you, it might be a bug. You say you can feel baby moving about, so at least you know baby is ok!

Hope you feel better soon.

Hi all, well have been fine all day and baby has been moving about so not concerned. If it happened again I'm calling the MW!

Thank you for all your kind replies
Have a lovely Easter weekend x

i had the same thing a couple of weeks ago, i was 22 weeks with loose stools and cramps that kept me up at night, i felt fine too, just the stomach pains, but i rang the midwofe and she said as long as there was no loss of fluid or bleeding then it was prob just a bug. as long as you can feel baby i wouldnt worrySmile
