I must be such a boring friend/partner! I do try my hardest but I can't help it!!

I'm only 10w with my first and it's consuming me - not as much as before when 120% was baby but I'm definately obsessed!

I'm on look out for bumps and buggies and stalk this forum and others too!

Arrrggggghhhhhh!!

My name is Ernie and I'm a baby bore too.

Trouble is only me and H know at the moment so he is getting really fed up!

Tell your mums...if they are anything like mine they won't care how much you talk about it as they will be as obsessed about it as you are. Also if something should go wrong you would probably tell them anyway right?

lolajane2009 · 21/04/2011 18:45

lol me too but at least hubby seems obsessed too. all i look at now is baby stuff.

saoirse86 · 21/04/2011 21:18

Me too! The only problem is my DD is 7 months and, if anything, I'm even more of a baby bore now than when I was pregnant!

I will stop mid-sentence to look at a good pushchair.
I feel extremely [buenvy] when I see a bump.
I try to guess how old other babies that I see are.
I have no other interests.
I've lost the ability to contribute to conversations that aren't about babies.
I constantly want to be pregnant, even when I haven't had sex in ages, when I'm on my period or when I realise how much I have to do before I'm ready for number 2.

I am a baby bore! Grin

HAHA- you 'baby-zillas' Grin I am the opposite! I hate talking about it, with anyone other than DH... makes me feel really awkward for some reason!

TurtlesAreRetroRight · 22/04/2011 11:00

I'm with you apricotears. I'm 19wks and don't like to talk about it. We've told only family and people who've noticed and if anybody tries to talk about it, I just clam up. I genuinely forget I'm pregnant some days. Until I see myself in a mirror or the baby kicks me in the bladder. A shopkeeper said to me the other day 'ooh you must be excited' and my head was going 'royal wedding? Olympics? Easter? WTF?' for about 3 minutes before I realised she meant the baby.

apricotears · 22/04/2011 11:09

HAHA! Funny isn't it. No one can really tell with me, 21 weeks and just look frumpy.. not pregnant! Customers at work often ask me if I have children, and I am still replying 'no' with no further explanation! I think 'ah well' people will work it out on their own eventually. It's not like I am going to be able to hid it forever! lol.

TurtlesAreRetroRight · 22/04/2011 11:28

That's my attitude. They'll notice eventually. I'm quite obviously pregnant if I wear the right kind of clothes as I'm short and it's my 2nd. But I tend to wear baggy tops and slouch a bit so you can't really tell. And I'm certainly not telling people.
