When do babies normally turn head down?

I can't remember (this is my third but they're well spread out). I'm 29 weeks now and I'm pretty sure it's not head down. Mostly I think it's transverse. Sometimes it's felt like he's feet down (interesting sensation) but never head down. He's got 7 weeks to get in position, I've had a cs before so have a consultant appointment at 36 weeks to see if we're ok for a vbac or not...

My DS was tranverse until 37 weeks.

DD was head down until 34 weeks then went breech and wouldn't turn.

They all vary.

My no.3 just gone head down at 29 weeks - until now was breech. (Kicking feels transverse because it's to one side, but MW yesterday says baby is head-down). MW also says they still move around quite a bit for more weeks. A friend who had a baby last month was breech until 38 weeks, then baby moved to head-down just in time for birth!

A lot of babies are breech until around 32 wks, so I wouldn't worry. The majority of them all turn head down before birth. Only 3-4% of all babies are breech at term.

Mine flipped to head down at 34 wks!
