Saw my consultant today and I am going back in 3 weeks for her to examine me and if the babys head is engaged then she will agree to break my waters (I will be 38 weeks). The problem is that with it being baby number 6 she did agree that the baby may not engage until labour but she doesnt want to risk breaking my waters and then nothing happening. I was induced at 38 weeks with my last one for SPD and that was 3.5 hours start to finish (best birth ever!) so I am confident it will be ok, but I do need the baby down in my pelvis for her to do it.
So.....any tips on getting baby down in my pelvis and more to the point, staying there?!
