Not a huge amount Love - mine checked bp, took a urine sample and went through health questionaire - all done in about ten minutes!

An anticlimax. Loads of questions about your lifestyle and family history. Possibly blood pressure, blood sample, weight. You'll come out with half a rainforest of leaflets and wonder why you bothered Grin but you have to go through it! Congratulations!

I'm wondering about this too. I rang to make my first appointment with the midwife yesterday and the receptionist told me to be ready for the appointment to last a good hour. I'm slightly confused as to what we'll be doing all that time Hmm

Form filling, chatting, BP, blood samples that was my lot, lasted about 30 minutes.

Yep - anticlimax! I am coming to realise that YOU are the only one that thinks a holy special miracle is happening and that all around you should be in awe of the amazing thing happening to you - midwives clearly are not your adoring followers!!!
