Hallo

I'll be 8 weeks on Thursday did test on Friday called gp surgery today and they gave me number for midwife team who r run out of the other surgery in our town. Made appointment with them on 11th may first appt they had. I'll be a day shy of 12 weeks by then for 1st appointment Im worried this is late for any medical intervention/consultation is it? Worried I might actually be 3 weeks further on already and what I thought was last period was bleeding so could already be 11 weeks and so almost 15 weeks by time of appt.

What date have others been to see someone and if it was early was that due to history?

Am worried willturn into a crazy person if wait that long to talk to a professional.

Ring them back, explain your problems and ask what happens about booking you in for a scan. If your area does the NT scan, you have a specific window for it.

Is it definitely just a mw appointment on the 11th? Some places do booking and scan at the same time, in which case your appointment would presumably be at the hospital.

I'd be more concerned about the scan than the booking appointment right now, just in case it is a NT scan they usually offer and assuming you wish to have it. Booking in at 12 weeks isn't a problem.
