Hey all,

I know this may sound odd but I've had a really sore tongue yesterday/today. It's more towards back of tongue and is really sore, I suppose it feels like I've burnt it on hot food which I know I haven't.

Has anyone had this before?

What you are describing is probably geographic tongue. Its a condition where the surface of the tongue gets sore in patches, usually red ones with white edges. Acidic foods can set it off, but so can things like walnuts, kidney beans. It hurts, but although the patches stay for a while, the soreness actually goes quite quickly.
It is probably linked to a vit B deficiency of some kind hence being quite common in pg because of the demands for B vits generally.
The reason I know this is because I have had geographic tongue all my life and I have a blood disorder which means I cannot store or process a varity of B vits very efficiently. Funnily enough I havent had it badly whilst pg and that might be due to the high folic acid and supplements I am taking.
If it bothers you, ask your GP or MW about vit B supplements.
Hope that helps
