Anyone found a really comfy (voluminous!) maternity dress for the summer?

Hi

I spend my summers in cotton dresses and with DC2 due on 5th August, I'm going to need something to keep me cool. Has anyone found any lovely, comfortable summer maternity dresses (in cotton)? I've seen a few maxi dresses and a couple of really skimpy numbers in Mothercare, but nothing that takes my fancy.

Also, any over-bump summer trousers? They seem more elusive than unicorns- not spotted a single pair on my wanderings!!

Thanks :)

I've just bought 2 cotton jersey maxi dresses from primark for a bargainous £9 each. They're empire line so flattering over my bump and I just bought a bigger size. Much nicer (and cheaper) than any of the maternity ones I've seen.

I've just got a couple of pairs of over the bump linen trousers from JoJo Maman Bebe.

They had a lovely summer maxi dress and some nice summer tops in Mamas and Papas the other day, but all trousers were under the bump sadly. I would have loved some over the bump linen ones.

I bought a non-maternity maxi dress (with animal print) from H&M at the weekend. Nice style, so worth checking to see what else they have. Mind you, I think my next mission is to find one that flatters bigger boobage!

I got a couple of maxi dresses in h and m , two sizes bigger than I usually wear and they are mahhoosivee..Plenty enough room in there for a small person and a few pies. They were only £14.99 each too.

Jojomamanbebe does a fab maxi dress and I got some white linen trousers from Next materity. They are under bump but I have a bump band so figured that'll work and I won't get too hot on my tummy.

I was in monsoon on Saturday, there were loads of maxi dresses, all with enough room for a bump. I have a mat maxi dress from a few years ago and it makes me look vast, my non mat one does look better imo.

I got a maxi dress from peacocks which is quite fitted round my bump but is very stretchy and also bought a gorgeous blue and red one from mandm (blue wahoo) is the brand which is absolutely gorgeous. The blue wahoo one comes up massive though so don't be tempted into a bigger size as I was! I had to send it back! My friend gave me some under bump White linen trousers and they are super comfy. I need to purchase some black ones to live in!!!!

I second primark maxi dresses! There are loads of colours to choose from and they're fab! would easily accommodate a growing bump.
George @ Asda do some lovely things too both maternity and non-maternity.

For the trousers I found next were very good with over bump trousers, I prefer the over bump style too as the others just fell down on me!

I am going to be living in maxi dresses again. My mat jeans are just too hot atm - I have one from last time and a new one I bought in Asda (orange an black one) Life savers!
