2nd timers, did your bump get bigger quicker this time??

I am 22 weeks and look almost as big as I did full term first time round. Anyone else the same? Dh keeps looking at me and commenting how huge my bump is and it is making me feel ridiculous when people ask when I am due and I say "not until August" as they look surprised!!

Think it supposed to get bigger more quickly the second time around. Mine showed earlier, but now (I'm 33 weeks) doesn't look quite as big as last time to me (difficult to remember though....)

yes definitely. Am now 36 weeks but have felt as big as I ever got with DS1 by about 30.

yes i was bigger 2nd time round, he was a bigger baby though but i think you show earlier than with 1st babies definitely. now expecting my 3rd & i am hugee! also not due til august and getting the surprised looks when people hear that as i look as though im due any minute, hoping it does not mean that this baby is gonna be even bigger and its just a 3rd baby thing

Yes- I think all your tummy muscles are shot anyway! I'm 37+2 and was showing much bigger much earlier. Weirdly I've put on much less weight everywhere else though (which is nice).

Me too. I'm 33 weeks and much, much bigger than I was at full term last time...

No - I didn't really show until about 16 weeks and I managed to keep it under wraps to most people until after the 20-week scan. I'll be 36 weeks tomorrow and I think I'm probably the same size as I was first time around. But I had good stomach muscles once and I've had 3+ years between pregnancies, so that might explain it.

I showed at 7 weeks with 2nd pg - but it's twins so not sure I'm verfy helpful to your thread. My neighbour saw me this morning and nodded at my bump and said "Not long now!" Hmmmm, not due until September! Oh dear.

I got big really quickly, but now at 39+3 don't look any bigger than I did with DC1, I actually think I'm a bit smaller..
