How long can it take to get positive pg test?

First month of TTC DC2. My cycle is irregular. I had some pains that I thought were ovulation about 2-3 weeks ago. I now have slightly sore breasts (not usually something I get with PMS) and am feeling quite light headed on and off which I did when pg with DS. I have had 2 negative pregnancy tests, one last tuesday and one yesterday. When should I test again?

My period was late after first month of TTC.

It took 6 days and 3 tests later to show definite 2 clear lines!

Is your period overdue and are you normally very regular? I was 8 days late before I got a BFP.

I tested when I was due and it came up negative. 2 weeks later and I got a surprising positive!!
