I cant stop crying. Everything happy or sad on the telly makes me cry. I feel like an emotional mess...everything seems overwhelming.

This is my second pregnancy but I dont remember feeling this way. I am also a bit more sick to my stomach, but I had none of this with my first so my husband is offering no sympathy and thinks I am making it all up!

how do you get a grip?

lol still am at 18 weeks... i can't stop laughing or crying. i find I laugh at odd things too, like father in law, knocking things off the side of furniture or not being to get shoes on too well.

You could start by laughing at the ridiculousness of some of the things you cry about. I cried into my porridge one morning when my partner made a gentle suggestion to me about something, which in retrospect was funny. Also, in my experience get plenty of sleep - the more tired I was, the more emotional I was. And don't forget, it passes.

Haha this was me too-so much so that everytime there was any kind of confrontation at work (no non-pregnant person would even see it as confrontation, just discussion....) I would be in floods of tears. Am almost 17 weeks now and it seems to be passing fingers crossed!

not weepy but very early in my first trimester. Just need to pee all the time and feel very tired.

PinkFondantFancy · 16/04/2011 17:40

Also sorry don't mean haha at you, just laughing at myself at some of my recent ridiculousness...! :)

First trimester and second trimester! DP's current favourite game is making me cry. This may sound mean, but it's just so easy he can't resist! If I even laugh too much I cry.

Wish I'd had that. Unfortunately I just turned into an argumentative bitch.
