Hey everyone ! I'm 14 weeks and bought myself the angelcare Doppler ! I ve found the heart beat each time! But just wondering if there dangerous?

I ve noticed if the bit that contacts the skin lifts at all (by mistake) it makes and awful noise? I know some people are weary of them because if they can't find the heartbeat?

But in general good or bad???

Not dangerous at all, the noise is in your ears (headphones) only so the baby is not aware of it. I've used one in both pregnancies and found it very reassuring until the baby started kicking. Once the baby is moving it is better/safer to count baby movements.

Yes it does make awful noise when it lifts though. I always use a low volume setting for that reason.

Congratulations on your pregnancy and enjoy your Doppler!
