Will my belly button ever go in again?

And has somebody invented some kind of laser treatment/chemical peel to reverse the effects of stretchmarks yet? Hmm

do men have babies - no, so you may be a long time waiting Wink

Yes, your belly button will go back in. But it won't look quite as neat as it did before. Dunno about the stretchmarks. Second pregnancy and touch wood had none so far. But I read that's probably because I'm in 30's and so skin not as elastic, hence no stretchmarks -small mercies.

Lady - are you saying that the older you are, the less like you are to get stretchmarks?! That is amazing news, if so (I'm 34 wks with first and 41, and so far nothing). Got to be one of the best benefits of being ancient!

I am 33. Too old to ping back into shape but not old enough to avoid stretchmarks. Grrr...

My belly button went back after totally disappearing with both my pregnancies! Unfortunately the stretchmarks got me (aged 26 with 1st baby and 27 with second, now pregnant aged 30 with 3rd), but think this is because I was tiny before 1st pregnancy (size 8) and ballooned in the final 6 weeks, had no stretch marks until then!

Belly button not as it was, but then a womans body is always somewhat altered after growing a baby x

Apparently so, Princess Grin. Just look at teenage Mum's - they pop back but often get horrendous stretchmarks. I got awful stretchmarks as a teenager all over bum, hips and boobs where I became more womanly but nothing being pregnant and this is my second.
