DH is in the Army and so is away sporadicaly.
He is going off for 6 weeks on in early May and will return when I am just over 30 weeks.
I am just really wondering from you lovely preggo ladies out there how big the difference will be from 24 weeks to 30? I really want it to be huge so it is more exciting for him.

does anyone know roughly how much I will change, this is DC1.
Is anyone in the same boat of have a DH/OH who is away a lot?

i should imagine you would have got bigger in 6 weeks :) im still waiting for my bump :( lol

see mine isnt that big now, I want to be knocking things off shelves with bump by the time he gets back.

Your belly is supposed to grow by 1cm a week by this stage of the pregnancy i.e. 26 weeks pregnant = 26 cms from the pubic bone to the top of uterus.. Don't worry, you will be massive...

I am 30+6 weeks now and my bump just seemed to suddenly appear about 28 / 29 weeks, not sure if this is because I'm only 4ft 11in, but some people think I'm further on than what they realise, lol .

between 24 weeks and 30 I went from looking like i'd had a big lunch and still being in normal clothes (admittedly the baggier ones) to looking completely and utterly pg, needing maternity clothes and having a bit of a pg waddle...there will be a HUGE difference! :o

it is crazy, is it not? lol..

Your bump will be much bigger your norks will have swollen and you should (if you look after yourself) feel really well ......take time to pamper yourself whilst he is away and make a start on habits to keep you looking yummy .
