I have implants & I get very hot painful nipples sometimes. Have to push/squeeze them to help pain but I dont think if that is connected to implants? I didnt think it would make any difference esp as mine are shoved behind the muscle. But am interested now!

I've had two BA's and have been pregnant before the first, between the first and second and since the second. I didn't get painful breasts with any of my first three pregnancies (all boys) but have in subsequent pregnancies, which have all been girls. It doesn't seem related to the implants at all.

I wouldn't say mine are excessively painful or uncomfortable though, more just very sore at times. No itching or anything, but I would imagine if you'e had the BA fairly recently an/oryour breasts have becomebigger with pregnancy, the skin sretching could cause itching/burning?

I have implants but not having any probs yet (im 9 weeks). They've been slightly sore but thats a pregnancy side effect not to do with implants.

Hi Firstime, congratulations! I have them and had similar symptoms, particularly nasty nipple pain from any kind of friction, even just walking around (try Lansinoh). I put them down to "normal" tissue and found them encouraging given I blocked out any reference to BFing when I got them done in case it put me off.

Now having been through BF class with antenatal group understand the implants should be behind the actual milk producing tissue and so take heart from this. Didn't get the growth lots of my friends experienced, whilst "the girls" are bigger than they were to start, most mat tops are still too baggy at 35wks, my natural size didn't fill a 34AA so guess the growth is all relative.

Ive had mine 11 years and 3 pregnancies... They dont look the way they did! But i never had any pain or problems at all.

Same here... Had mine 11 years, one dc pre boob op, 3 dc since ( well 2 & a bit dc3 imminent!)

Boobs just as tender before BA as after in all pregnancies. Only thing I get is an itch sort of internally iyswim!! Behind the skin but in front of the implant??!!

My nips felt like they were gonna fall off with all pgs so could be that you are particularly sensitive. And they are permanently a size bigger (paid for d's now have e's!!) since I bf dd3. Also they do get quite hot but again that's normal whether enhanced or not.

Do they go saggy after pregnancy like normal ones do? I had mine done after I'd had (I thought) all my children. I didnt get much sagging but then I was a aa.
